MapMyAir

We refined a personalized approach to providing real-time pollen and air quality conditions in your area for your family.

Project Scope

MapMyAir is an extension of Oransi. Oransi is known for high-quality, expertly designed air purifier systems. This project started with creating the MapMyAir logo. This logo had to stand on its own and fit within the branded style of Oransi.

While real-time air quality information is easily available, MapMyAir aimed to provide hyper-local pollen-level information. Big Pixel was asked to build a family-centric, user-friendly, and easy-to-use responsive site that encouraged users to create profiles, add favorite locations, set pollen limits, and get notified when those limits are hit. Providing "need to know, before you go" allergy warnings to keep their friends and family breathing easier.

Our Goals

We set out to build a clean, easy-to-navigate experience. The single prompt homepage leads directly to the map search and results. We wanted to give the user the ability to save locations in their profile and share the information with a click.

The secondary goal was to lead the users into an introduction to Oransi products, content related to air quality and pollen, and the benefits of high-end air purifiers. There are featured products showcased along blog posts and finally, a survey that helps you choose which air purifier is the right one for you.
