Information Station: The Value of Being in the Know
Knowledge is power when it comes to success in business and in this day and age - information is everywhere.
The key to unlocking that success though is discerning the difference between knowledge and information. And furthermore the value of that knowledge not just in market shares but in the holistic nature of your business.
Down the road your money may dwindle but the potential for scaling done right with the knowledge you’ve gained from discerning your value in the market is priceless.
Checks and Balances
It was Ice Cube that so eloquently said, “check yo self before you wreck yo self.” That man laid down some knowledge there for sure!
An integral part of knowing your value in the market is vetting your original idea.
Be obsessed over how your idea may succeed or how it may fail.
Will people want this idea? Will it be lucrative? Is it scalable?
When you have exhausted all avenues and your idea has nothing to do BUT succeed, then you know you have yourself a winner.
But as we all know having a great idea doesn't equal success right away - or eve r- so how do you move forward?
Know Your Worth
As an entrepreneur you have learned your market, you have placed your great ideas in it and played all angles, you are convinced that the world needs this idea and that it’s going to be a success - so now what?
The hard part is knowing your place in the ecosystem. Even though you had this great idea. Are you the right person to bring it to the masses?
Do you have the knowledge, the reach and the connections to be the CEO?
Do you have the prowess to be in charge of Marketing?
Know your worth in not only the market but within the systems of your idea and place yourself in the area where you will have the most impact.
Now this is easier said than done, as humility can be hard won, not everyone is meant to be a CEO but in the end - you were made for success - so have the grace needed and know your own worth.
Flying is tough... Down right impossible for mere mortals and so too trust can be for leaders.
Your business is ready to fly to heights of success that you couldn't imagine or have thought possible and you have all your people aligned, your t’s crossed and your i’s dotted and now the real test is to trust - trust the process - trust the machine and trust that all of the hard work, research, and knowledge wasn't for naught.
Trust your value.
Know Your Worth.
