Healthcare facilities had open shifts and qualified nurses ready to fill them, but no fast, mobile-first way to connect the two. Nurses needed a streamlined way to find nearby opportunities, verify their credentials, and request shifts in real time.

Big Pixel built the FindFill mobile app for Nurse First: a geolocation-based job marketplace that connects verified nurses with open healthcare positions in their area, with real-time shift updates and a clear path from signup to job-ready.

We developed a ReactJS mobile app for both iOS and Android, with a phone-first sign-in flow, a six-step profile wizard to guide nurses through the verification process, and geolocation-based job discovery with filtering by dates, times, distance, specialty, earnings, and bonuses. Real-time job availability was delivered through web sockets, and push notifications kept users current on new opportunities.
