TopQuadrant's TopBraid EDG platform is used by data stewards, information architects, compliance officers, and knowledge managers at major enterprises. The technology is genuinely powerful, but the existing interface created a steep learning curve that slowed adoption and made onboarding new users a significant challenge.

Big Pixel conducted a full UI/UX audit of the existing application, then used those findings to earn the redesign engagement. We rebuilt the interface from the ground up, creating a new design system and reworked UX flows that lower the barrier to entry without stripping out the depth the platform is known for.

We started with a comprehensive audit of the existing software, documenting inconsistencies, friction points, and confusing user flows. We presented our findings and recommendations to the TopQuadrant team, and that audit became the roadmap for everything that followed. We designed a new system-wide design language to bring consistency across the platform, then rebuilt the UX flows to guide new users through complex tasks more clearly and confidently.

The redesigned application gives new users a much cleaner path through the platform, reducing the learning curve that had been holding adoption back. TopQuadrant now has a modern, consistent interface backed by a scalable design system built to grow with the product.
